The most important thing to know about me is I love spending time and listening to my patients.

 

I obtained my  Masters Degree in Nursing from Northern Illinois University and am board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.  I obtained my certification in Functional Medicine from Functional Medicine University.  I am trained to assess, diagnose and treat medical conditions with and without the use of medications. I see  patients from 12 years old to seniors. My  passion is the treatment of chronic conditions, difficult to diagnose symptoms, and providing specialized care plans to prevent disease in healthy individuals. My philosophy of healthcare is to provide patients with a compassionate Functional Medicine approach to health where symptoms are not just treated, but solutions to disease processes are found.

 

My interest in  Functional Medicine began when I faced illnesses that traditional approaches to medicine could not heal. I was introduced to a Functional Medicine doctor who for the first time was able to provide treatments that identified the root causes of my conditions and with God’s help I regained my health. This is the same hope for healing that I offer my patients. 

 

I am a member of the Illinois Society of Advanced Practice Nurses, Sigma Global Nursing Excellence Society and a member of the Sugar Grove Chamber of Commerce. Spending time with my family, public speaking and writing books and theatrical pieces bring me great joy. In short I love creativity. I am the author of  The Adventures of Bugzy and Bugwy: Don’t Eat The Cookies which is the first in a series of  Children’s books.
